Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and recommending solutions to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems design and layout issues
- Study plans and blueprints to determine feasibility of design
- Make recommendations on equipment selection, including product type, size, capacity, thermal efficiency, energy efficiency, and cost
- Review and perform calculations to determine energy efficiency, equipment capacities, heating and cooling requirements, and code compliance and compatibility
- Review electrical and plumbing system plans and blueprints to determine feasibility of design
- Review and recommend equipment selection, including product type, size, capacity, thermal efficiency, energy efficiency, and cost
- Review and recommend HVAC/plumbing/electrical/fire protection systems and design modifications
- Review and make recommendations on equipment selection, including product type, size, capacity, thermal efficiency, energy efficiency, and cost
- Review and make recommendations on HVAC, plumbing,
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in engineering related to mechanical or aerospace engineering
- 5+ years’ experience as a mechanical engineer
- Proven history of delivering high quality mechanical design
- Solid understanding of mechanical design processes, materials, and construction techniques
- Understanding of building code regulations and standards
