Job Title: Panel Board Electrical Wiring Technician
Employer Industry: Low Voltage Electrical Switchgear manufacturer and supplier
Work location: Sharjah
Salary: Competitive Salary for the experienced candidates
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in panel board wiring and assembly preferably in UAE
Requirements: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Key Responsibilities

• Panel Assembly: Install and assemble electrical panel boards and enclosures as per technical drawings and layout diagrams.
• Wiring and Termination: Perform wiring of panel components, including relays, switches, contactors, and circuit breakers, ensuring precise terminations and neat wiring.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Inspect and test completed panels to ensure functionality, quality, and compliance with standards. Address any issues identified during testing.
• Compliance: Adhere to company standards and UAE electrical regulations during panel construction and wiring.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and tools used in panel board assembly.
• Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions. Maintain records of work performed.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other technicians to meet project timelines and quality requirements.

Requirements
Education and Experience

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in panel board wiring and assembly.
• Experience with different panel types (e.g., PLC panels, MCC panels, control panels) is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of electrical components, wiring standards, and schematic interpretation.
• Proficient in using hand tools, crimpers, and multi-meters.
• Knowledge of UAE electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve wiring and component issues.

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Certifications

• Electrical safety or equivalent certification (preferred).

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work overtime or on-call shifts when necessary.
