Job Purpose:
The Senior QC Engineer / MC Dossier Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with ADNOC, international standards (ISO, ASME, API, etc.), and project specifications. This role oversees Quality Control (QC) activities and manages the Mechanical Completion (MC) Dossier process, ensuring all documentation is accurately compiled and submitted for project handover.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control (QC) Responsibilities:
- Ensure all construction, inspection, and testing activities comply with ADNOC VAP, COP, and project specifications.
- Review and approve ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), method statements, and QC procedures.
- Conduct inspections (welding, coatings, NDT, materials, etc.) in line with ASME, API, AWS, and ISO standards.
- Monitor subcontractor/vendor QC performance and ensure compliance.
- Lead non-conformance (NCR) and corrective action (CAR) processes.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors (TPI), client representatives, and certification bodies.
- Perform audits and ensure adherence to ADNOC’s quality management system (QMS).
- Oversee the preparation, compilation, and submission of MC Dossiers as per ADNOC LS-009 and project requirements.
- Ensure all check sheets, test reports, certifications, and as-built documents are accurately recorded.
- Verify punch list clearance and ensure all pre-commissioning documents are complete.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams for timely dossier handover.
- Maintain and track document control logs using EDMS (Electronic Document Management System).
- Support the Handover Dossier preparation for project closeout.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC COPs, ISO 9001, and other regulatory standards.
- Prepare daily/weekly QC reports and present to project management.
- Liaise with ADNOC, PMC, and EPC teams for quality-related matters.
- Supervise QC inspectors and provide technical guidance.
- Conduct quality awareness training for project teams.
- Interface with HSE, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
- Certifications: CSWIP, ASNT Level II, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, NACE/ICORR (preferred).
- Minimum 7+ years in QC roles in ADNOC or oil & gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, and international codes.
- Expertise in MC Dossier preparation (ADNOC LS-009 experience mandatory).
- Proficiency in EDMS (Aconex, Documentum, etc.).
