Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Roads and Highway Surveyor to join our infrastructure development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting precise land and topographical surveys for road and highway projects, ensuring that all construction and alignment work adheres to design specifications and industry standards. Previous experience on European Union (EU) projects is highly preferred due to the technical complexity and regulatory requirements often involved.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform topographic, boundary, and construction surveys for roads, highways, and related infrastructure.
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings, CAD files, and design plans to on-site surveying.
• Set out road alignments, elevations, curves, and grades as per project requirements.
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS/GNSS, levels, and laser scanners.
• Maintain accurate records of survey data, field notes, and calculations.
• Work closely with design engineers, civil supervisors, and construction teams to ensure project accuracy.
• Identify and report any discrepancies between design and actual site conditions.
• Ensure surveys are completed in compliance with local and international standards.
• Support the preparation of as-built drawings and final survey documentation.
• Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in road and highway surveying.
• Previous EU project experience or familiarity with EU design and quality standards is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in using surveying software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Leica Geo Office, Trimble Business Center, etc.).
• Strong understanding of horizontal and vertical road alignment, earthworks, and drainage systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team-based environments.
