Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Sales Executive to join our growing team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong client portfolio within the oil and petroleum products sector, driving revenue growth across refined products, base oils, lubricants, and related commodities. This role requires deep industry knowledge, existing market relationships, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced trading and manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
▸    Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in the UAE and GCC markets for petroleum products including fuel oils, base oils, lubricants, bitumen, and specialty chemicals.
▸    Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients across segments such as industrial consumers, shipping companies, distributors, and government entities.
▸    Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by management.
▸    Prepare and present tailored commercial proposals, pricing structures, and term sheets to potential buyers.
▸    Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with clients and suppliers.

Account Management
▸    Manage a portfolio of existing key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and long-term retention.
▸    Conduct regular client visits, product presentations, and relationship-building activities.
▸    Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.
▸    Monitor account performance and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
 
Market Intelligence & Reporting
▸    Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics in the regional petroleum products market.
▸    Provide regular market intelligence reports and sales forecasts to senior management.
▸    Maintain accurate CRM records including client interactions, deal progress, and pipeline data.
▸    Participate in industry events, trade fairs, and networking forums to enhance market visibility.
 
Compliance & Documentation
▸    Ensure all commercial activities comply with UAE regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
▸    Coordinate with finance and legal teams on credit assessments, contract documentation, and invoice processing.
▸    Manage export/import documentation for cross-border petroleum product shipments as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education
▸    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
▸    MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Experience
▸    Minimum 3–7 years of proven B2B sales experience in the oil, gas, or petroleum products industry.
▸    Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
▸    Prior experience in the UAE or wider GCC/MENA region is strongly preferred.
▸    Existing network of industry contacts including buyers, traders, distributors, and logistics providers.

Technical Knowledge
▸    Strong understanding of petroleum products including refined fuels, lubricants, base oils, bitumen, petrochemicals, and specialty products.
▸    Familiarity with international commodity trading practices, Incoterms, and pricing benchmarks (Platts, OPIS, Argus).
▸    Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations applicable to petroleum products.

Skills & Competencies
▸    Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
▸    Strong analytical ability with proficiency in sales data analysis and CRM systems.
▸    High level of commercial acumen and ability to structure complex deals.
▸    Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
▸    Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic or other language skills are an advantage.
▸    Willingness to travel within the UAE and regionally as required.
▸    Valid UAE driving license preferred.
