Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring and control panels for fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on fire alarm, emergency lighting, and related life safety systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and fault diagnosis of electrical equipment and fire protection systems.
- Ensure all work complies with UAE Civil Defense regulations, electrical codes, and company safety standards.
- Repair or replace defective electrical components, wiring, switches, relays, and circuit breakers.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians during installation and maintenance projects.
- Prepare service reports and maintenance records accurately.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, testing equipment, and PPE.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service requests.
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as an Electrical Technician.
- Experience in fire fighting and fire alarm systems installation and maintenance is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, control panels, and low-voltage systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with UAE Civil Defense standards and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
